Delaine C. Peterson is an associate with the firm. Delaine, a native of Red Oak, Iowa, obtained his B.B.A. in 1963 from the University of Iowa. He attended law school at the University of Iowa graduating in 1966. Delaine then joined the Security National Bank's trust department where he was a trust officer until his retirement in 2001. After his retirement, he joined the firm in 2002.

Delaine practices primarily in the areas of estate planning, probate, wills and trusts. His practice is focused on assisting clients with developing a comprehensive estate plan. He also assists personal representatives and fiduciaries with the administration of the estate or trust.

Delaine is a member of the Woodbury County Bar Association, Iowa State Bar Association and American Bar Association. He is a member of the Probate Section of the Iowa State Bar Association and is a member of the Siouxland Estate Planning Council.

Delaine is also a Trustee of the Mid America Council of Boy Scouts; a Board member of the Siouxland Community Foundation and a member of the Downtown Rotary Club.

Delaine and his wife Joan have three adult children. In his spare time Delaine enjoys flying and restoring tractors.
